The WBL (Women's Basketball League) opened its 22nd season last October 2009. The team's first game was against St. Scholastica's Manila, earning the team's first loss by about 12 points.

The second game was vs Assumption Antipolo- which the Dragons won by about 11points, November 14th. The third and last of the elimination games was on November 15 when the Dragons went up against San Beda Alabang. The team won this game with a 20point difference.

The team went up against UST (holding the no.1 spot in their bracket) playing the semifinal round to qualify for the championship, but unfortunately lost by 2 points last November 29.

A battle for the 3rd spot was held as a result of the outcome which was held last December 5th at the Xavier Gym. The team won versus UP with a final score of 55-23; finishing strong even at its post-season with the title for Third Place.

The team received the Third Place trophy handed by Mr. Nicanor Jorge, founder and commissioner of The BEST (Basketball Efficiency Scientific Training) Center as well as individual bronze medals.
