We've won the WNCAA volleyball championships! The UA&P women's volleyball team beat Centro Escolar University Scorpions 3 sets to 2 last Oct. 11, 2009. The following players were also named to the mythical selection: Gianne Gonzales, Masteral Student in MScM as Best Blocker; Rina Roxas, Junior EM Student as Best Tosser; Angel Yu, Senior IMC Student as Best Receiver; and Selina Artadi, a Freshman CAS student as MVP for Women's Volleyball Division B.
Our women's basketball team forced a rubber match for this coming Sunday by beating the La Consolacion Blue Royals 51-46. Two players were named to the mythical selection, namely, Rosc Teotico, Senior IMC Student (at the Center position) and Ara Biolena, Junior EM Student (at the Forward position).
Also, Ara was awarded the Most Valuable Player award for Women's Basketball Division B.
On Sunday, Oct. 18, our basketball team will vie for the title. We'll give you more details on the schedule and transportation as soon as we can.
